My Interview with heavensgame.com on Coaching the Seattle Quake

I was fortunate enough to chat w/ the editor of heavensgame.com today and provide some insight to the guys "down under" as to what it's like coaching a gay rugby team here in Seattle. Heavensgame.com is a niche rugby site that covers the world of rugby union in real-time. Jeremy Beynon, Director of www.heavensgame.com, followed me on twitter and over the past couple days we established a relationship. Jeremy was interested in how gay rugby fit in w/ the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union. Australia is obviously no stranger to rugby, and has had high profile gay ruggers, like Ian Roberts, achieve significant fame in the world of rugby. Sydney also has one of tough rugby club, The Sydney Convicts, I played against them in Bingham Cup 2006 and remember rattling a few brain cells when going head to head w/ their fullback in our match w/ them on day two of that tourney. Anyhow, Jeremy and I chatted about rugby and gay sports and how the quake is basically doing some of the most cutting edge studies in applied cultural anthropology around sexual orientation within tribes of athletes. Our conversation lead to this interview. Thanks Jeremy, good on ya and glad ta know ya. X
